Introducing the Shedloo!

Once a week, we travel across state borders to work on some land we recently purchased.  We hope to build a home on it next year, but right now it's covered in trees, poison ivy, tall grasses AND has a large tick population.

Working all day in the heat, while wearing gear to keep ticks off (head wraps, work gloves, long sleeves, long pants tucked into my socks) I was perspiring quite a lot and I started to have some very dangerous issues with dehydration.  I wasn't drinking enough water... because I didn't want to have to use the bathroom!

You see, ticks are attracted to sweat and urine. I was terrified to take a leak outside where ticks are;  it's simply too risky!  We have a single shed on the property, for tools etc. and have cleaned out the area around it.  I considered putting an average camp toilet inside, but quickly realized the urine would draw ticks to it.

The Carloo has changed all of this for me!  Now I keep the Carloo in the car. When I need it at the property, I get it out and put it on a chair inside the shed.  When I'm done, I  simply pick it up and put it back in the car. The ticks never find it ...or me!

Before, I wasn't drinking enough water because I didn't want to have to use the bathroom. Now, I can chug all the water I want and I can go to the bathroom as often as I like.  My symptoms of dehydration are gone.
